Wake Up To Adventure

Photography Experiences With Meaning

Welcome to Wake Up To Adventure

We believe the most powerful wildlife photography journeys are shaped by time, patience, respect, and presence — and that the moments you carry with you matter as much as the images you capture.

Each Wake Up To Adventure wildlife photography workshop and tour is designed as a meaningful, immersive experience in wild places. Led by wildlife photographer and guide Lee Andelson, our small-group and private photography tours focus on connection — with wildlife, with place, and with how you see the world through your lens.

Imagine standing in a wild environment, camera in hand, as the natural world unfolds around you. From the coastal waters of the Pacific Northwest to tropical seas, remote polar regions, and wildlife-rich landscapes around the world, our carefully curated photography tours are shaped by place, patience, and presence. Each destination is chosen not just for what you might photograph, but for how it invites you to see more deeply.

Whether you are new to wildlife photography or an experienced photographer seeking deeper understanding, our workshops are tailored to meet you where you are. Along the way, you’ll learn not only the technical aspects of wildlife photography, but also how animal behavior, ecosystems, and cultural context shape meaningful images.

Leading up to your tour — and while in the field — we go beyond photography alone. We believe in fostering respect, understanding, and lasting connection with the wildlife and environments we experience together. Through shared moments, guided observation, and intentional time in nature, our goal is to help you create photographs — and memories — that stay with you long after the journey ends.
